Pick a starting point (your location, an address, or a spot on the map) and a drive time. The app shades the area you can reach by car using current traffic. Save it as a layer, then start the next leg from any point on the map to plan multi-stop trips.
One radius can cover up to 9 hours. For longer trips, tap near the edge of a radius and start a new one from there.
Live-traffic lookups cost us money each time, so new users get 3 live radii in their first 24 hours, then 1 per day. Drive Radius Pro raises that to 30 a day. Your daily count resets at midnight UTC.
Radii use traffic at the moment you create them and typical conditions along the route. Use Refresh traffic on a layer (touch and hold its chip) to update it. Road closures and weather can still make real trips differ.
Check that location access is allowed for Drive Radius in iOS Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Location Services. You can always enter an address or tap the map instead.
Drive-time areas are calculated with HERE routing and traffic data. Maps are provided by Apple Maps.
Your saved trips live only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what the app sends and why.
